As the parent of a Clarkson University student, I am disturbed to find out that Clarkson University has been spending my money (funded by tuition payments) to attempt to bust the union representing our campus Facilities & Services workers.

I value the important services these workers provide for our students, and I believe the workers’ wage proposal is affordable and fair. I don’t believe Clarkson University should be spending my money paying for anti-union attorneys to fight these workers, when you could simply accept the workers’ reasonable wage proposal and move on. This is not the kind of example I want Clarkson setting for my student.

I request that you immediately stop spending money fighting our campus CSEA workers, stop the anti-union tactics, and accept the workers’ modest wage proposal to settle this contract dispute.
